Cancellation & Refund Policy

The key rule
Our cancellation policy follows the cancellation policy of the partner property, boat operator or service provider included in your booking. The applicable cancellation terms are shared with you in writing (WhatsApp or email) before the booking is confirmed, and you accept them by paying the advance.
Payment schedule
- 50% of the booking amount is payable to hold the reservation.
- The remaining 50% must be paid at least 30 days before the arrival/check-in date.
- If the balance is not received by that date, the booking will be considered cancelled, and the cancellation terms shared at the time of booking will apply to the amount already paid.
- For bookings made less than 30 days before arrival, 100% payment is required at the time of booking.
- Payment details are shared only from our official numbers (+91 89103 10810, +91 92082 09210) or email (info@banarasyatri.com). Please do not pay to any other account.
How to cancel
Send a message or email from the phone number or email address registered with your booking. The cancellation time is the time we receive your message.
Refunds
Refunds follow the partner's cancellation policy, minus any non-refundable charges stated at the time of booking (for example a booking/convenience fee or payment gateway charges). These charges are disclosed to you before you pay.
Festival and peak dates
Bookings for festival and peak dates, such as Dev Deepawali, are often non-refundable once confirmed by the partner. This will be stated clearly before payment.
No-shows
No refund is given for a no-show unless the partner allows it.
Changes and date shifts
Changes and date shifts are subject to the partner's policy and availability.
If a partner cancels
If a partner cancels or we cannot provide a confirmed service, we will offer an equivalent alternative or a refund of the amount paid for that service.
Refund timelines
Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 working days to the original payment method or bank account.
