Our role
Banaras Yatri (a BNC Legacy venture) is a travel facilitator and booking assistant in Varanasi. Stays, boat rides, transport and other services are delivered by independent partner properties and operators. Their house rules and policies apply in addition to these terms.
Enquiries and quotes
Quotes are valid for the period stated in the quote and depend on availability. Prices shown on the website, such as "starting from ₹1,200/night", are indicative and vary by dates, property and season.
Booking confirmation
A booking is confirmed only after we share a written confirmation on WhatsApp or email and the required advance payment has been received.
Payments
- 50% of the booking amount is payable to hold the reservation.
- The remaining 50% must be paid at least 30 days before the arrival/check-in date.
- If the balance is not received by that date, the booking will be considered cancelled, and the cancellation terms shared at the time of booking will apply to the amount already paid.
- For bookings made less than 30 days before arrival, 100% payment is required at the time of booking.

Customer responsibilities
- Carry valid government photo ID for every guest.
- Provide accurate details for the booking.
- Follow the safety rules of the property, boat operator and transport provider.
Changes
Changes to a confirmed booking are subject to availability and the partner's rules. Any price difference is payable by the customer.
Festival and peak dates
On festival and peak days, such as Dev Deepawali and major Ganga Aarti days, crowd control, VVIP movement, road closures and administrative restrictions can change timings, routes and darshan access. We will help you with the best available alternative, but we are not responsible for such government or administrative changes.
Limitation of liability
We are not liable for the acts or omissions of partner properties or operators, weather, natural events, government orders or other force majeure events. In any case, our liability is limited to the amount paid to us for our service.

Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh have jurisdiction.
